is an ideal place to hang out and relax. However, if you are ready
to launch into an adventure, there are no lack of sporting
activities at hand in El Sargento and the surrounding area.

Trips, Dirt Biking, Diving, Eating & Drinking, Fishing, Hot Springs,
Kayaking, Kite Boarding, Massage, Mountain Biking, Photography, Real
Estate Shopping, Relaxing, Sailing, Snorkeling, Spanish School,
Swimming, Trail Running, Trekking, Wind Surfing. There are myriad
experiences to be had. NOTE: These are all suggestions. Casa
Cantina does not provide sporting or rental gear of any kind, so if
you are planning to enjoy one of these activities, be sure to do
your research and/or come prepared with the appropriate equipment.

- Miles of beach and even more
miles of dirt roads await. Casa Cantina does not provide the
equipment, but we have a great place to tell your stories at the end
of a long day of exploring.

- Windsurfing & Kite Boarding

- Every October through March,
there is a windsurfer / kiteboarder pilgrimage made to this area.

- There are many places that will
rent equipment and teach lessons.

- Fishing
and Boating

- El Sargento is a fishing
village. Many of the fisherman will welcome an opportunity to take
you out on their boat for a reasonable fee. So, rent a “ponga” and
explore!

- Diving & Snorkeling

- We do not provide snorkeling or
diving gear at Casa Cantina, so if you want to partake in one of
these activities, be sure to bring your own gear or be prepared to
rent gear from one of the local dive shops. There are a few local
shops and a handful in La Paz.

village after all, however, bigger charters are going to be out of
La Paz.

- A mile north of Casa Cantina,
you can find natural hot springs just where the ocean meets the
beach. Best found at low tide.

- Miles and miles of open space
are waiting.

- Bring your bike or rent a
bike. There are so many places to discover, you will want to come
back every year.

- The Sea of Cortez is warm (see
chart above). Casa Cantina is on a cliff with a gorgeous white sand
beach and the Sea of Cortez beaconing below. You won’t be able to
resist a dip.
